Business Law Reform Feedback Form

A key aim of the Ministry is to develop a closer relationship with the users of business law. We want to facilitate the exchange of information with stakeholders in business law and interested parties.

Strategy

So as to facilitate better communication with our stakeholders and more efficient processes, we have developed the Business Law Monitoring Strategy. This initiative seeks to ensure that:

  • Prioritisation of work takes account of the needs of stakeholders in business law;
  • The views of key stakeholders are taken into account in policy development; and
  • The Ministry is able to access technical expertise when developing business law policy.

These pages are only one part of the overall strategy for closer relationships between government and business law stakeholders. In addition, we have developed the following initiatives to facilitate greater teamwork and productivity:

Feedback obtained through this strategy is not intended to replace existing consultation processes under the generic policy development framework.

Feedback Form

In order to ensure we provide the best possible policy advice to government, we need to know:

  • how the law operates in practice;
  • what difficulties are being created for market participants; and
  • what effects proposed amendments will have on market participants.

Your input on these practical aspects of business law is important and we welcome your comments. Please use this feedback form to convey your views to us on business law.
