Insurance & Superannuation Unit
The Insurance and Superannuation Unit is the prudential supervisor of registered superannuation schemes and administers certain insurance reporting legislation.
ISU encourages compliance with the Superannuation Schemes Act 1989. It also ensures insurance companies comply with the statutory obligations under the Life Insurance Act 1908 and Insurance Companies' Deposits Act 1953, and administers the Insurance Companies (Ratings and Inspections) Act 1994.
Online information includes quarterly ratings schedules, forms and fees, superannuation statistics, Government Actuary annual reports and newsletters.
