Importing to NZ
New Zealand is a member of a number of conventions designed to control the movement of hazardous waste around the world and ensure they are disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. The Ministry of Economic Development (MED) administers applications for imports covered by these conventions in New Zealand and ensures compliance with the convention requirements.
