Review of Economic, Industry and Regional Development Policies and Programmes
A stocktake of government policies and programmes for industry and regional development was released on 6 December 2005. The stocktake is part of the evaluation process by the Ministry of Economic Development designed to determine if the government's business assistance programmes delivered by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise are effective.

The Ministry of Economic Development has carried out three previous reviews of the policies and programmes for industry and regional development, funded through Vote Economic, Industry and Regional Development. This review continues the practice.
