Review of the Polytechnic Regional Development Fund
The Regional Polytechnic Development Fund was set up in 2002 to encourage local Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics to collaborate with local industry and enterprises to support regional development. In 2004 it was evaluated by MED and a review of the policy rationale for the programme was undertaken in light of the changes in the tertiary education environment since the programme's inception.
