Current Duties

The schedule below shows goods currently subject to anti-dumping and countervailing duties. Details of current investigations are shown on current investigations.

Date Duties Cease*

Pursuant to section 14(9) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 anti-dumping and countervailing duties cease to be payable on goods five years from the date of a final determination having been made, unless, at that date the goods are subject to a review. The date the duties cease (unless a review has been initiated) is shown in the table above.

Customs Instructions

Customs instructions provide guidance to the New Zealand Customs Service on the administration and application of anti-dumping and countervailing duties. Customs instructions include a detailed description of the goods that are subject to the duty, the methodology used and practical examples.

Customs instructions will often include information which is confidential and is excluded from the non-confidendial versions that appear above.
