The Ministry of Consumer Affairs provides policy advice to the Government on a range of consumer and consumer-related issues.  See the Policy, Law & Research [external link] section of the Consumer Affairs' website.

The Ministry also produces discussion papers on a range of issues including legislative changes, consumer laws and policy, industry sectors and markets, product safety and measurement. 

Research, evaluation and monitoring projects are undertaken by the Ministry and research papers are available on the Ministry’s website.
