Status:Archived

Engineering Assessment

The draft engineering assessment for the UHF-TV spectrum licences to be offered for renewal in March 2005 is complete, and is currently undergoing peer review. Provisional engineering data for the new licences is available on request to radiospectrum@med.govt.nz. Note that the licence parameters may change following completion of the peer review, or to take account of changes to existing licences.

Qualifying Sites

So far, the engineering assessment has identified the following list of sites qualifying as being used for ongoing UHF-TV broadcasting as at 31 December 2004. Replacement UHF-TV licences will only be offered for these sites in March 2005.

However, note that this list is being peer reviewed and may be subject to change.
