Joint Procurement Group (JPG)

The Joint procurement Group (JPG) is a representative group of procurement practitioners from New Zealand Local Government Authorities and their Council Owned or Controlled Organisations.
The primary objective of the Group is to support member organisations and practitioners in achieving their respective procurement objectives, through information and knowledge sharing and where possible, collaborative procurement.
The Group's work is informed by and aims to support initiatives led by the Ministry of Economic Development's Government Procurement Development Group. The Group also considers wider New Zealand Government and other international procurement objectives in its activities by promoting sustainable outcomes and improvements to standards of practice and capability.
JPG meetings are held quarterly.
