The four Growth and Innovation Sector Taskforces on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Biotechnology, Design and Screen Production delivered reports in mid 2003. In September 2003 the Government responded with a package of initiatives directed at implementing the Taskforces' recommendations.

The 2005 report below has been prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development and provides a comprehensive update on progress with implementing the four Taskforces' recommendations. It summarises key developments in each sector, provides information on implementation of recommendations and feedback from industry bodies. The attached annexes provide tables listing the Taskforces' recommendations, the intention behind the recommendation, the government response and key developments to date.
