Sustainable Development Programme of Action

The government has released its programme of action for sustainable development in New Zealand. The initial focus is on water quality and allocation, energy, sustainable cities, and child and youth development. The programme of action also underlines the need for co-ordinated action across the government sector, and for partnerships between central government and local government, communities, Māori and business.
