Welcome to the website of the Ministerial Inquiry into the Telecommunications Industry.
The Inquiry is now under way and the Inquiry members have been appointed. Background on the members is included in the material on the website.
We want to ensure that those who wish to keep up-to-date with our work, and with public announcements and material as it becomes available, have the electronic means to do this.
The use of an Inquiry website is in keeping with the need to use the electronic communications system available to us. It provides the Inquiry members with a low cost opportunity to give you up-to-date information on the Inquiry’s work.
We intend putting all public notices, reports and news releases generated by the Inquiry onto the website, leading up to our report to the Minister.
Once the Inquiry reports to the Minister, the decision on the publication of the report rests with the Minister.
