Completion of Regional Meetings Programme
The Panel has now completed its national regional meetings programme. We are pleased to report a positive response from the business community to the meetings and the work of the Panel.
During the course of the 11 regional meetings Panel members spoke with over 300 business people from varying backgrounds. In addition to these meetings, we have met with a number of sector/industry specific groups including those from the engineering, petroleum, farming, fisheries, forestry, port, tourism, dairy and health sectors.
A number of themes have come through from the meetings and these will help us to focus our work leading into the final stages of the review. We therefore would like to thank all of you who took the time to come and share your views with us.
