Anti-Dumping Duty
Anti-dumping duty is collected by way of a Non-injurious-free-on-board (NIFOB) amount for Sanwa Pty Ltd and a Normal Value (Value for Duty Equivalent) (NV(VFDE)) amount for SCT Co. Ltd. The amount of anti-dumping duty payable is the amount by which the NIFOB or the NV(VFDE) amount exceeds the New Zealand Value For Duty of the goods entered for home consumption. Where exchange rate movements cause the NIFOB amount to exceed the NV(VFDE) amount the duty is based on the NV(VFDE) amount using an Alternative Rate.
For other suppliers an ad valorem percentage of the declared value for duty of the subject goods is calculated. The ad valorem percentage rate is "capped" through the use of a NV(VFDE) amount.
The rates of duty are shown in the following table:
| Exports by SCT Co. Ltd | xxxx Thai baht |
| Exports by Sanwa Pty Ltd | NZ$xxxx |
| Alternative Duty:2 exports by Sanwa Pty Ltd | xxxx Thai baht |
