40. Responses were received from the Consumers' Institute of New Zealand and the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind. Both supported the findings of the NECG report. Further feedback was sought from Recording Industry Association of New Zealand, Independent Music New Zealand, Booksellers New Zealand and Book Publishers Association of New Zealand.

41. The following have been consulted on this paper: Treasury, Te Puni Kōkiri, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Ministry of Consumer Affairs and Ministry for Culture and Heritage. Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet has been informed. The Minister of Commerce has also been consulted.
