Review of the Clearance and Authorisation Provisions within the Commerce Act 1986

70. The Commerce Commission, the Ministry of Justice, the Judiciary and the Treasury have been consulted on the issues presented in this paper. The Ministry of Justice, the Judiciary and the Treasury support the recommendations is this paper. The Commerce Commission does not support repealing sections 59A(2) and (3), as set out in paragraphs 50 to 57 of this paper.
