An elected Chairperson and Board lead the Industry Training Federation. The ITF is supported by a secretariat.
Roles
The Industry Training Federation (ITF) represents New Zealand's 40 Industry Training Organisations (ITOs). The ITF provides a forum for ITOs to discuss common business issues and to provide the basis for working with government and government agencies.
The ITF vision is "a skilled and productive New Zealand".

Funding
ITOs are funded by government and industry to set qualification standards for the sectors they cover, to encourage and promote workplace learning, arrange formal training programmes, and exercise a skills leadership role on behalf of their industries.
The ITF is a member organisation funded by ITOs.
