Small Business Advisory Group Report 2008

Small Business Advisory Group
[ Last Updated 10 April 2008 ]

Membership of the Small Business Advisory Group

The Small Business Advisory Group (SBAG) was established by government in October 2003 to act as a sounding board for government policy development, to identify issues impacting on the growth and development of SMEs, and to suggest priorities for action and explore solutions.

The Advisory Group provides a means for departments and the government to take more fully into account the interests of SMEs in policy initiatives and to provide a deeper understanding of how government can work most effectively with SMEs. The Advisory Group also provides the means for dialogue with SMEs on matters that go beyond individual and immediate issues.
