SMEs Contribution to Output
SMEs account for one third of New Zealand's output
Using sales and other income as a measure of the contribution of SMEs to total output in the economy, we can see from figure 7 that SMEs account for 39 percent of total output, with small enterprises making up just over two thirds of this.
