34. The proposals in this paper have been developed in consultation with the Treasury, the Ministry of Justice, the Securities Commission and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. The following departments have also been consulted on the proposals made in this paper and their views incorporated: the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, the Inland Revenue Department, Department of Labour, Department of Internal Affairs, State Services Commission, Retirement Commission, Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Ministry for the Environment, Te Puni Kokiri, Customs Department, Department of Building and Housing and the Office of the Privacy Commission. The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet has been informed of the proposals.
