8. Recommendations
551. It is recommended on the basis of the information obtained during the course of the review that:
- The Chief Executive of the Ministry determine pursuant to section 14(8) of the Act that in relation to the importation or intended importation of standard plasterboard from Thailand into New Zealand that if anti-dumping duties were to be removed:
- there is a likelihood of dumping recurring; and
- by reason thereof material injury to an industry is also likely to recur.
- The Chief Executive of the Ministry initiate a reassessment pursuant to section 14(6) (c) of the Act.
- The Chief Executive of the Ministry sign the attached Gazette notice publicly notifying the completion of this review and initiation of a reassessment of the anti-dumping duties that currently apply to imports of standard plasterboard from Thailand.
