The Ministry made no emergency expenditure in accordance with section 13 of the Public Finance Amendment Act 1994 over the 12-month period ended 30 June 2001 (Year ended 30 June 2000: nil).

This statement is to be read in conjunction with the Statement of Accounting Policies and Notes to the Financial Statements.
