Background
2. A draft of the Patents Bill, incorporating changes to the Patents Act arising from the recently completed Patents Act review was released on 20 December 2004. Interested parties were given until 11 March 2005 to make submissions on the draft Bill.
3. Thirty submissions were received. A full list of the submitters is attached to this report. Copies of all the submissions have already been made available to you in connection with an Official Information Act request for copies of the submissions.
