Introduction
2. The main body of this report summarises our key findings on the pricing performance of the principal telecommunication services in the fixed network telecommunication services market, the cellular services market and the developing broadband telecommunication services market. More detailed benchmark information on fixed network telephone services, cellular network services and broadband services relative performance is provided in the attached appendices.
3. The relevant standard OECD tariff basket methodology was used to compare the price of Telecom New Zealand's telephone service prices with those in other OECD countries using price data as at February 2004. An (OECD) standard method is not yet available for benchmarking broadband services.
