The consultation document was released by the Select Committee in April 2008. The Select Committee sought views from industry and other interested parties, as to how to best address the issues which arose from the Bill, as it was introduced.

Departmental report on the Financial Advisers Bill

The Report was provided to the Select Committee in July 2008. It summarises submissions received by the Select Committee on both the Bill as it was introduced to the House, and the Consultation document issued by the Select Committee in April.

Financial Advisers Bill: Amendments To Policy Design

Agreement was sought from Cabinet in June 2008, on the policy changes proposed for the Financial Advisers Bill. These changes were a result of submissions received by the Select Committee.
