Capital Market Development Taskforce
The Capital Market Development (CMD) Taskforce was an industry-led taskforce established in July 2008 to develop a blueprint for New Zealand’s capital markets. On 16 December 2009 it released its final report, making 60 recommendations to improve the performance of our markets.
The taskforce looked at the current state of our capital markets, the international context, future risks and opportunities and key changes necessary to deliver the best possible financial system for New Zealand.
