On 20 September 2006, Australian and New Zealand Ministers announced the release of an updated A Users' Guide to the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) and Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Arrangement (TTMRA). The Users' Guide is designed to assist exporters, people in registered occupations, policy makers and regulators in both Australia and New Zealand to better understand the arrangements and to ensure that the benefits of mutual recognition are fully realised.

  This Guide was prepared by the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Committee on Regulatory Reform and is designed to assist exporters and professional service providers on both sides of the Tasman.
