Summary
In 2008 renewable primary energy was 241 PJ. Hydro and Geothermal are well-established renewable energy sources. They contributed 34% and 48%, respectively, of total renewable energy for year 2008. Biomass & wastes, and other renewables including solar and wind accounted for the remainder.
