Tenth Session, Geneva, 30 November-8 December 2006
The Tenth Session of the World Intellectual Property Organisation ("WIPO") Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore ("the IGC") took place in Geneva on 30 November-8 December 2006.
The IGC distributed a revised version of the two sets of draft Policy Objectives and Guiding Principles ("the documents") in preparation for the Ninth Session:
The Committee's work on the development of policy objectives and principles for the protection of traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions is ongoing and the Ministry is preparing the New Zealand response to the documents for the Tenth Session.
