International Energy Agency In-Depth Country Review

The International Energy Agency (IEA) conducts an in-depth review of each member country's energy sector and policies every five years. The purpose of in-depth reviews is to provide a standard assessment of each member country's energy sector against based on the shared goals of IEA member countries and to provide practical recommendations for making future improvements. The in-depth review process also serves to disseminate useful energy related data and policy information among IEA member countries.

The 2006 IEA In-Depth Country Review of New Zealand was released on 11 May 2006.
