Project Collaboration
Project Collaboration is a new business initiative that is currently underway as a collaborative venture between the Government and the private sector.
It is part of a drive, supported by many organisations, to build business capability in New Zealand. The project will focus on ensuring that there is strong demand for, as well as quality supply of, capability building services. The project's objectives are outlined in the scoping document – the Project Charter.
Pilot Study on Business Excellence Models and Assessment Tools
The Steering Group is currently working on the development of a detailed strategy, but has agreed to undertake a pilot study to look at Business Excellence Models and Assessment Tools, even prior to the strategy being completed. It is anticipated that the pilot will provide valuable learning on methodology which can then be incorporated into the rest of the project. A questionnaire was developed to ask organisations what the business community is using in terms of Business Excellence and Improvement Models as well as Business Assessment Tools. The Steering Group is currently analysing these responses.
