Emergency Call Services 111 review

Summary

A review of 111 emergency calling services was announced by the Minister for Communications and Information Technology in December 2010 with the release of terms of reference. The 111 review has the purpose of investigating where long term improvements could be made for 111 emergency calling services.

The Ministry has prepared a discussion paper to canvas key issues identified by the review.

Submissions on the discussion paper are due by 30 March 2012 and should be emailed to 111review@med.govt.nz. Submissions are to be published on the Ministry web site.
