Screen sector work programme
In 2011-12 we are undertaking a joint work programme with the Ministry of Culture and Heritage to assess government initiatives supporting the screen sector.
The work programme aims to ensure that screen interventions are well targeted, complementary and effective in supporting the government’s cultural and economic objectives for the New Zealand screen sector.
This work builds on the findings and recommendations of a review of the New Zealand Film Commission, and includes evaluations of the Large Budget Screen Production Grant and the Screen Production Incentive Fund.
A report back to Cabinet for the work programme is scheduled for June 2012.
