Cantabrians can keep up-to-date with the progress of the new Christchurch Stadium thanks to a website launched today.

The new website aims to keep residents, property and business owners and interested Cantabrians informed about the new Christchurch Stadium being constructed in Addington.

Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Minister Gerry Brownlee is leading efforts to deliver the Christchurch Stadium as part of the city’s recovery and rebuild. The Minister is assisted by officials at the Ministry of Economic Development and Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority.

The stadium will host major sporting fixtures and musical events and is an important part of Christchurch's recovery and rebuild from the devastating earthquakes of 2010 and 2011, which left Christchurch without a venue to host large outdoor sports and music events.

This site will be regularly updated with information, news and images as the stadium construction progresses.
