Deputy Secretary, Organisational Development and Support

I joined the Ministry of Economic Development’s predecessor (the Ministry of Commerce) in 1998. During my time at MED, I have worked in the Competition Trade and Investment Branch in the corporate and commercial law area and have managed the Regulatory Policy and Corporate and Competition Policy teams. In April 2009 I was appointed to the Director Strategic Management role in the Economic Development Policy Branch where I was responsible for strategic management of Vote Economic Development.

In October 2010, I joined the Organisational Development and Support Branch as the Director Strategy Accountability and Information and in December 2011 I was appointed to the Deputy Secretary Organisational Development and Support role.

I have an LLB from Victoria University. Before coming to the Ministry, I worked at the Commerce Commission where I investigated potential breaches of the Commerce Act.
